International Best Available Environmental Technologies Centre

On the 1 ^st of October, 2010, within the framework of the project „BAT/BEP Centre for environmentally safe disposal of potentially hazardous consumer products and industrial wastes“ in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization „International Best Available Environmental Technologies Centre“ was registered.

The main activity of the Centre is to render services for a comprehensive scientific, technical and information support for design, development and implementation of best available techniques and best environmental practices in enterprises regardless of ownership, both in Russia and abroad.

The Center also provides services for examination and further promotion of selected advanced technologies to significantly reduce the consumption of all types of material resources, reduce harmful effects on the environment. Particular attention is paid to the creation of regional systems of processing of discarded electrical and electronic equipment, and waste rubber products.
