- Quality Infrastructure for Sustainable Development Index - The story behind the data
On 17 June 2022, UNIDO launched the Quality Infrastructure for Sustainable Development (QI4SD) Index. The QI4SD Index was developed in collaboration with partner organizations of the International Network on Quality Infrastructure (INetQI), and its development was funded by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). The index is composed by 36 indicators related to quality infrastructure and covers 137 countries.
- Industrial Technology Forum "Digital environmental monitoring 2022 - 2024" held at the RF CCI
On May 31, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation hosted a regular Forum dedicated to the control of industrial emissions, discharges at sources, air and water quality control in the zones of influence of enterprises — „DIGITAL ECOMONITORING 2022 — 2024“.
- Eurasian Economic Forum 2022
On May 26, the Eurasian Economic Forum 2022 was held in Bishkek. The main topic of the Forum was „Eurasian Economic Integration in the Era of Global Changes. New Opportunities for Investment Activity“.
The Forum was intended to promote economic cooperation and investment, innovation and export potential of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union. - The impact of the UN Sustainable Development Goals until 2030 on global processes was discussed at Kazan Summit 2022
From May 19 to May 21, Kazan hosted the XIII International Economic Summit „Russia — Islamic World: KazanSummit 2022“ (hereinafter referred to as the Summit). This year, more than 6,000 guests from 64 countries took part in the Summit.
- Eurachem Scientific Workshop on Quality Assurance of Measurements
UNIDO, through its Global Quality and Standards Programme (GQSP), supported the Georgian Laboratory Association (GeLab) to organize an online scientific workshop on Quality Assurance of Measurements from Field to Laboratory with Focus on ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Requirements on 16-18 May 2022, in connection with the Eurachem General Assembly 2022.

On the occasion of the World Intellectual Property Day, celebrated on 26 April, this year under the theme “IP and Youth innovating for a Better Future”, UNIDO and European Brand Institute (EBI), together with leading experts in Branding & IP from Vienna Chamber of Commerce, Austrian Standards Institute, Deloitte Tax Austria and private sector representatives, engaged in “Sustainable Brand Talk” providing a valuable insight into how branding and IP management work, showing their direct impact on maximization of sustainability and intellectual value addition.

On April 19, a meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan „On the implementation of the state program „Energy and Resource Efficiency in the Republic of Tatarstan“ in 2021 and tasks for 2022“ was held at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center (hereinafter referred to as the Meeting of the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan).
